Amsterdam pictures - 30The plane ride from Hartsfield to Schipol was very uneventful. Finished reading Island and that was about it. My flight left an hour late, but that actually worked well as I had a last minute bank SNAFU that took an hour on the phone to sort out. The plane landed an hour early at 7am local time. nice pics, i believe that the reason everyone has older bikes over there is because of the extremely high chance of bike theft. I remember hearing when i was there that it was a real problem in amsterdam so noone wanted to waste money on a really nice bike. Keep the pics coming :)

That had crossed my mind, but it seems odd that there would be a higher than normal rate of bike theft there. I am sure they have access to the same bike lock technology that we do, and anyway like have the bikes around aren't even locked...
