I really like this guy, James Rolfe. Speaking of that, you should go to Cinemassacre.com (his site) and watch some of his Angry Video Game Nerd videos if you've never seen them. Pick a game you played and be ready to have your nostalgia raped.

Anyway, he's a big movie buff, and I enjoyed his top 30 movies video and watched a few of them (and want to watch more). I respect his taste, and he's turned me on to a ton of great stuff. http://www.spike.com/video/cinemassacres-top-30/3359042

Also, fuck American Psycho. Watch American Movie! God do I love that film. That's one that James turned me on to. The commentary track on the DVD is priceless, too. But for some reason I've never watched it sober.

It's so weird... Took me a second watch to really like it. Then I ended up buying it.

Btw, The Game was awesome. I forgot about that movie. Definite mindfuck of awesome.

Irreversible has easily one of the most violent and scary rape scenes in a movie.
I liked I spit on your grave, but same thing here.

I personally find it really hot, but is triggering for some sexual abuse survivors

My mind doesn't seem to be overly affected by that (trigger-wise).

Is it weird that I can find a strange sense of comfort in them? Meaning....... (how to put this)...... seeing it in a 3rd point of view, it helps "heal" the yuck in me???

Both of those I am going to have to watch with someone else though. I might cry from the suspense/gore. I am weird though. Suspense sends anxiety through the roof.

Have you seen The Uninvited? That was like an ongoing panic attack for me. And I got teary from it..... Same with Game Over and Saw (1). The anxiety takes over and I cry. However, I do cry in almost all scary movies...... I'm a big wimp

Irreversible keeps popping up on my Netflix queue; I watched about the first ten minutes and became dizzy and irritated at the whirling of the camera. I was surprised, cos I usually like jumpy sort of effects, and everyone I know complained that Cloverfield gave them headaches but it didn't bother me.

I've never seen Cloverfield. My brother talked about it for quite some time, but I don't really have a lot of interest in that one. I don't like to be "overly" scared.
