Granted I am not a Marvel person, but this doesn't seem like that big a deal. DC is already owned by AOL Time Warner. It's just another way to spread the marketing power. I'm not completely thrilled with either situation, but it's business.
i'll stick with chad's comment "is it the Apocalypse already?"
Its kinda creepy that there soon will be only 3 major companies that own everything.... Even worse it sounds like conspiracy theory drivel but is too close to true.
I hope the takeover involved big contracts that has "no dicking around with the comics- leave them the way they are" tho if they get rid of Joe Quesada i will not complain.
fingers crossed it'll hopefully be a non issue. Disney hasn't been doing all that well at the movies with their own non-Pixar IPs. Whereas Marvel as been pretty bankable of late. Hell i think even Ghost Rider made some money after everything was tallied. So hopefully they'll maintain a hands off approach and persist from there, as that's really the most profitable stand point.
