[When the feed clicks on, Jet looks more than tired.  He's exhausted and drained, physically and emotionally.  He's also given up trying to hide it.  He scratches at his eye with the heel of his hand and looks up to the PCD, pausing as though unsure what it was he wanted to say.   He turned it on for something, right?  Or had it turned itself on

[And, a few minutes later, she'll pad down into the kitchen, cat in her arms. Her face is a little drawn, but she doesn't seem exhausted.]

You need to rest.

[He shrugs a little, leaning forward to rest his chin on his crossed arms.]

You're sure I died, right?

The damage.. it couldn't be healed. Your lungs were filling up with blood, Jet.

[Yeah...he's still not looking in her direction.]

But...you saw me die, right? You saw it happen? You-- know I didn't make it out from under that lake?

[AKA she could use you if you were dead.]
