i knew this, because he owns the rights to the original degrassi series. it was only a matter of time before he did something with it.

Oh Kevin Smith. I appreciate how much he loves things. That's cool. I just don't want him to fuck up something I love. Maybe it's better that he'll be remaking the old one, since I'm not nearly as attatched to those characters.

Also, I want to reiterate what I said last night: Kevin Smith does not own Degrassi; that is a rumor. CBC, who owns Degrassi, is Canadian public television.

I was reading a summary of Kevin Smith's comments at the San Diego Nerd Prom and he said that it was the next thing he was working on.
