we stood there for ages, intertwined
our arms around each other, embracing
The moon shining with all its greatness
with sounds of stray dogs howling in the distance.
Alone, all the time in the world to ourselves
Here, forever we stood
Sounds never need to be made for we have each other
Here we stand surrounded by darkness
together in the cold
in the presence of each other's warmth.
Our heats, beating simultaneously
the moisture of our breath
swirling onward to the heavens
The stars glimmering
Of light and Hope
peaceful like tonight
for we are alone - together
