I didn't know this till i chatted with Rae yesterday but: The xylophone is actually a Vibraphone, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vibraphone it has a motor to spin disks in the resonators (the tubes) to vary the amplitude (basically the volume) of the resonators.

Blossom, you don't know how all this makes me happy :)

I can leave the country for an undetermined length of time, knowing my brother from another is a happy happy camper :) This is a good thing :)

Also, pop in from time to time & be surrogate child for Mum while I'm away will you? she needs someone to feed in our absence.
