haha I mean it was sorta the place we ended up going as a last resort, after our plans for Europe and South America didn't work out... so I still haven't been to those places = ( but I had fun anyway, thanks

Where in Canada were you? Since you're taking about French stuff I'm guessing Montreal? Somewhere in Quebec at least? I don't know what you've heard but university/college is definitely not free. Not in Ontario at least. It's about $10,000 to $15,000 each year. And that's not including residency. I live in Toronto and don't hate tourists at all! Oh, and I noticed on your bio that it says you were born in 1989. Aren't you young to be going to university? I mean, my cousin's your age and she's just starting her last year of high school. Unless you skipped a grade? *scratches head*

PS: I totally understand about the whole French thing. I took it for six years and I still don't know squat.

haha long comment...
first we drove up to Toronto and stayed w/ relatives near there, then drove to Montreal and then Quebec... I loved it
ok, maybe not FREE but def pretty cheap, that might be about the price of public colleges here, but private ones in the US can be up to 45,000 (with room and board)
and yep I skipped kindergarten lol, I turn 18 in april

Yeah, you're a few months older than my cousin. She just turned 17 last week. Oh and that whole public/private system for universities is stupid (no offense or anything). I mean, really, what's the difference? An education is an education, no matter what name is attached to your diploma. Wow, 17. I feel like such a failure. I'm 19. I took a fifth year at high school (AKA "victory lap") and now I'm taking another year off. By the time I actually go to university, I'll be 2 years behind all my friends.
