Has your dad ever done grief counseling? If not, that may be something he should look into. If so, maybe he should go back or something. Have you talked to him about how you feel about your relationship with him? Is it possible that he doesn't need you as much as you think he does? I dunno...maybe he should find something productive to do. Since my grandmother died last year, my grandfather volunteers to tape town meetings. He's doing a service and staying informed and staying active. He also started singing the choir at church again. Maybe that's something your dad should look into?
