Dad was in an accident today. He was working on the side of the house when his latter slipped and fell 20 feet onto our deck. He landed on his right shoulder and the right side of his head. Fortunately, I was home this weekend to immediately call 911. He’s been semi conscious. He will answer if you ask his name or where he is, but his voice is

I'm really sorry to hear this. I hope that your father heals quickly and I hope you guys can convince him to go somewhere where there are people available to check in on him regularly. I know that this will be difficult for your family and my heart is with you guys. We will include you in our nightly prayers.

I still need to call you. I've been really bad about that. Things have just been so busy recently.
