So I purchased the complete Robotech series on DVD from some business in Hong Kong. It’s funny how I’ve succumbed to the “subbed” side. I used to prefer dubs; now, all things the same I’d prefer the subbed version. I think I might go see a movie in this weekend. I’ll either watch the summer blockbuster, The Fantastic Four, or the emperor penguin documentary, March of the Penguins.

I stopped by the library a couple of days ago. The computer system was down, so I walked the isles browsing for any books that might strike my fancy when I came across The Complete Anime Encyclopedia. I got back from a short excursion today. Originally, we planned to go to the beach for this weekend, along with the following week. At least, that was the plan when Mom was alive. I want to get on a better sleep schedule. I don’t think it’s my insomnia; I think it’s just at one point I started getting up later b/c it was summer and, consequently, I started going to bed later. Today is the day we bury Mom. One of Brother’s old friends, who lost his mother six years ago, warned us, “[Today] will be the worst day of your life.”

Mom died this afternoon. We’re not sure what happened. She woke up this morning saying she felt tired. My sister had to take her to get a CT scan at 12:45 pm, while I ran some errands. After she got into the hospital, she collapsed and appeared to have a seizure ( Read more... )
