Like a cake wreck, this idea is both delicious and disturbing.

Is that where a cake, high on coke-laced dope and feeling desperate due to a total lack of original ideas, crashes into the meridian and flips his Tesla over three or four times, then lands in a salt-water lake?

Yes, but with more sparkling.

A more straight-faced spinoff of “Doctor Who,”

Please insert Amy Poehler's repetition of Really? Really really? ala Saturday Night Live News. Because no.

Also: no, no, and freaking hell no.

Re-dos are almost always such a terrible idea, but ones for British TV also confuse the hell out of me. People do understand that they speak ENGLISH over there?

I'll just let my new fandom speak for me:

Wait! I know this one! Adam Lambert? And how come my hair won't do that, dammit.

Yup and mine won't do that either.

Dammit. I just got my Britpicking down to a not-too-failtastic science! Sort of.

Noooo! I love the Welshness!

Though I know I'd probably still watch it...

Oh, I think we're all going to be watching it.

And, I know; the Welshies! They're pretty much 85% of the appeal for me. I can guarantee we'll see no gap-toothed misses, either.

I'm just trying to get my head around RTD + FOX. I *know* I should be worried, but mostly I feel like getting out the popcorn...

Ahahaha, for real. I hope you're ready for your every creative endeavor to get its legs cut out from under and to have your very will to live crushed into ashes, and then to have those ashes shoved down your throat, RTD.

Welcome to the O.C. Century City, bitch!

Actually, that's an interesting point! RTD's probably gotten used to having his own way with the BBC in recent years, without too much censoring/forced rewrites/etc . . . how's he going to cope with the interference that Fox is known for?
