Oh, lord. This may be the most embarrassing thing I've ever posted on the internet.

I can always tell when it's the build-up to Shark Week because I watch this on forever repeat:

It's a compilation of scenes from PERIOD ROMANCE set to a LEONA LEWIS song. WHY DON'T I JUST CUT MYSELF INSTEAD IT WOULD BE MORE DIGNIFIED. But, I just don't know. ( Read more... )

I stab you in the face! But in a supportive way!

What movie is that one with Jodhi May

It's Daniel Deronda which was a Masterpiece Theater thing from a while back. I think the only other thing I've seen her in was Last of the Mohicans, but that scene with her (you know the one) is etched into my mind forever. She is fabulous.

Also the last clip - which movie is that from

North & South!!!!!!!! With Richard Armitage! And Mary the Killer Lesbian from Torchwood!!!!

Man, I get so excited about period dramas, I just don't even know.

I feel like I must have seen Tipping the Velvet -- do you let you into fandom if you haven't??? -- but I can't remember now if I did actually watch it or if I just meant to. Awesome excuse to download it (again?)!

That is the greatest video ever. How was I previously unaware of its existence?

Did you find the novel-length epic Jo/Laurie romance/adventure that I am looking for?
