This is already my second entry of the year! Excellent. What's that? Oh - I'm making it from work and that's a terrible idea? Pfffffft. Go away, loser.

A couple of yuletide things, by me and for me:

[In Character], League of Gentlemen, Ollie(/Linda, with hints of Ollie/Phil)
After the job in the Chinese kitchen, but before the job with JCB, Ollie did ( Read more... )

Hey, hey, hey, you! You are wonderful. Thank you so much for the card & the letter (!!!!!!). Your fannish endeavors sound so fantastic. Also, are you planning on watching that new Arthur show, Camelot? I don't think it starts until April, but I thought it might dovetail nicely with your interests if you're looking for something similar...

Hadn't heard about that one!
I'm rubbish at keeping up with shows as they come out - usually wait for positive reports and then get them on DVD and watch while doing my physical jerks. I might make the effort though ...
But no one will ever replace MY Arthur and Kai. First cut and all that ...

Yeah, I don't think it's quite as gritty as yours or as cool with the Celts & the tribalness, but it looks at first glance worth checking out. I totally hear you on being behind on things, too. I'm just getting around to some of the stuff that came out in 2009.

In our house, Costco is known as the $200 store, because that's the fortune we spend every time we go near the place.

Heeeeeee, I can so see how that happens. It was all shiny & tempting & I went from, "ooooh, two packs of Cholula for $10" to, "ooooooh, a fridge and it only costs $1000!!!!"

OMG, now that you said he's a Scotsman, I can totally see it. This reads like a Billy Boyd fanfic. ;) (Just a little.)

Well, it's Karl fanfic & Billy Boyd is my third favorite Scotsman, so it all makes sense! (Also, did you know that BB got married last week? And that Elijah & Dom were members of the wedding party? Awwwwwwwwwwwww.)

Karl doesn't speak with a Scottish accent, really, because he grew up in England, but he does a mean Sean Connery impression.
