We went and watched Sweeney Todd yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. While I did miss a few of the bits that were changed/removed, overall I think that it was a marvelously done screen adaptation.

Yes, even though we are familiar with the original (Hubby & I were lucky to see Cariou and Landsbury years ago) we were left wondering what happened to Toby.

I admit to hiding my eyes a bit, too. I'm a wimp.
