The Titans-Ravens game was everything I was expecting...close, defensive game.  I figured that the Titans had been on the down stroke and now they're heading home.  The Cards-Pants game was schadenfreunde filled (for Saints fans and the rest of the NFC south) and was painful to watch for Delhomme fans.  Philly is such a wild card, and the Giants ( Read more... )

I don't get off on defensive games at all. the rest of the post season could be a bore. the cardinals have offense but warner is annoying and I'll leave that at that. philly is alright to watch. but nobody really excites me. though it is funny to watch ray lewis play like he's about to die or go to jail or something. it's amazing he's a free man. I know it's been 8 years but wow. you can tell he knows he got away with another one whenever he interviews.

I think it's retarded that the colts 12-4 had to play @ the chargers 8-8. we need to fix that.

One of these days the South will discover the defensive side of football. Everyone at work agrees with you, and they're all depressed that college fb is over with.

I agree that defensive games can get boring...they can turn into punting contests that are full of guys running on and off of the field. But when the team with the ball is at their goal line, gains 10 yards, then gets sacked for a safety...awesome.

I forgot about the whole ray lewis thing, had to read wiki.

There have been a couple 10-6 teams go to the SB, and one 9-7 team (79 Rams). No 8-8 team has ever been there, as it should be.

wow. inditing a whole u.s. region. bold to say the least.

I hate college football. I'd rather sit next to scalper joe robinson and his bootlegged flask of whiskey at a saints game than some elehshoe douchebag. but to each his own I guess. not to mention I get nothing from watching (college) kids play sports that aren't related to me sin some way. I think that whole obsession is kinda strange. but then again I'm strange..

trust me, as a saints fan, I fully understand and appreciate the complexities, nuances, and outright need for good defensive football. preaching to the choir baby. personally, I'd just rather watch the home runs than the shutouts..
