When Hurricane Katrina slammed into Louisiana and Alabama on Aug. 29, 2005, the automobile companies of Detroit did not harrumph that the gulf coast should have been better prepared.

I'm home and it's good
It's good to be home. Big props to BB for letting us all stay there. If you must evacuate, I recommend Memphis. It's kind of like New Orleans, in that it's a big music town on the Mississippi. But it's definitely part of the US, unlike NOLA, so it's all normal. Went to Graceland and Sun studios, and walked the dog around some of the historic ( Read more... )
