This is the most valuable, cogent piece of writing on the subject I have ever read. Every student should be given a copy of this before they venture forth on the Internet. A great deal of shock and sorrow would be avoided. But then, what would we parents have to read? ;-)

I'm skeptical about point #III. *grin*

As for point I, I'm glad someone else is willing to stand as a bulwark against the onslaught of MySpace and Facebook. Nothing quite like getting a friend request from several people BEFORE you've filled out any personal info on your page. Because, you know, they're messaging you because they can just tell you're that awesome.

As for writing style: Nicely done!
