Yeah so college is freakin BORINGGGGG.

I'll break this down for you. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays my first class is "College success skills". It is a class about taking college classes. Does that not sound pointless to you?? Ah yes, I probably should have warned you that first year classes are generally dull as all get out. Just get through the first year and you'll be in good shape. Are you in a University 101 type of program? As in, have you had to declare your major yet? If so, what'd you go in for?

Good luck with the "sucktacular" classes.

How's the social scene treating you? Any new friends, yet? Wait, I guess it's only been two days. Well, lemme know. I'm living vicariously through you, it seems. :P

I'm just taking General Education classes because I wanted to do them at a community college and pay less. So, I'll transfer when I'm done with them and get into a fashion marketing program at another school.

Social scene is...lol. well. See, most of my friends from High School are going to this college. So I see them around alot even though none of them are in my classes. I did make one friend, though. Her name is "Roxy", isn't that a sweet ass name? haha

Haha. So you'd be what we call a "townie". I gotta tell you, the townies here are, in general, annoying as fuck. Some of them are pretty nice though, as I found out this year. Actually, about 90% of my girlfriends this year are townies. But townie grad students are on a different level from townie undergrads. Just please tell me you don't get up at 5am to do your hair and then come into class and greet your HS friends in a high pitched voice and then continue to talk while the instructor is talking. Please, please, please. If you do, I might have to disown you.

Is Roxy her real name? Cause that is a sweet ass name.

No, haha, I wouldn't say I'm a townie and my classes don't start till 11 so I get up around 10.

I had to take some pretty dumb classes last year, too. We had to take a class similar to your College Success Skills class, too, only ours was taught by some older students who knew nothing about teaching. It was awful. But it IS going to get better.

Oh yeah, and the reason why your teachers suck is because they usually make the better teachers teach the more advanced classes. At least they do it that way here. So just hang in there, it'll get better.
