Back in Action

I feel that the back in action icon is a worthy one to choose for this post. Last week I finished off another short film, this is essentially my 4th short film that i shot, but the second one I've finished as the Hitchhiker and Sandwich still sit on the shelf

wow! congrats on finishing the fourth one! I'm so thrilled for you... and crossing fingers that you'll get selected by scifi... what did you shoot it on and how long is it?

And wow, you made it 30 days before the deadline. That is impressive lol

yeah now all I need to do is finish the 2nd and 3rd ones. :-)

We shot it on MiniDV tapes on a DSR 500, which is quite a big heavy camera. Due to the nature of the competition it has to be only 4 minutes long, well actually 3 mins 50 seconds because u have to put in a 10 second advertisement at the end of it, which sucks especially when you're trying to squeeze as much out of it as you can. We're going to do a directors cut, which includes a few cut scenes and follow what we scripted.
