As for the second one... I have yet to find poetry that I don't really consider emo. I have found that basically the only reason I like poetry is for vocabulary, as one is free to use as many and whatever type of adjectives and adverbs as one wants. Obviously, such words can be just as well used in novel or short story format, just not to excess, for otherwise it looks ridiculous. Of course, there is good reason why an excess of descriptive words looks terribly out of place in novels and short stories.
So to conclude, I do dislike the poetry format, and thus cannot offer specific criticism.
