lou barlow's mom is cute. i winced a little inside when her son sang lines like "a one-night stand under stoned persuasion." it's not that that's a particularly impolite lyric, or that lou barlow is anything but polite and tasteful... it just seems incongrous in theme to having one's mother introduce one's band. i wonder if bon scott's mom ever

Hey Shannon, just wondering where you got the thought of charity events for autism. I mean that part really caught my eye. I just went to a really well planned charity event for the San Diego chapter of the ASA (Autism Society of America) planned in part by my father (the biggest contributor both personally and professionally).

that's what the concert was: a charity event for community autism resources. lou barlow's mom organized it.

That is really cool. We really need a lot of support for the Autism community. The event here was for CAMP I CAN (Camp Including Children with Autism Now) and I think my brother will be able to attend this year (age-wise). It is really cool to hear about other events for the community.
