Hey, everyone! I hope you're having fun with the drama finishing challenge. We've watched a bunch of episodes! We've finished a few dramas! We are doing good for our first week, and that's even before we check in with people who've been squirreled away watching dramas on their own. :D

1. How many episodes have you watched?
Just one (Episode 5)... even though I was really tempted to go back and rewatch the earlier Answer Me 1994 episodes.
2. What was your favorite of those episodes?
Going to use the first five episodes, so I have something to compare. Each episode has moments that I absolutely adore and would gladly rewatch... but I think episode 2 is still my favorite. I like the whole episode, but the hospital scene... Ack, my heart. So sweet on so many levels. And the black and white flashback to their childhood manged to totally wrench your heart with a few still images better than many a drama can for their entire run!
3. Do you have plans for what (other) dramas you're going to tackle in this challenge?
I seriously considered adding Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (only one episode to finish!), Tree With Deep Roots (I don't think I can handle the ending) or even The Lawyers of Great Republic Korea (I ( ... )

Only one episode to finish on Yamanade, that seems like an easy win! :D Still, keeping track of your priorities is important, too~ Gosh, hip-deep in dissertation, that is an overwhelming place to be. quaggy_mire, fighting!

It totally is... except it's been so long since I've seen the rest (during its original run), I'd be too tempted to go back and rewatch previous episodes. That's where I'd get in trouble! I wish I had thought of it a year ago. I could have used an easy win back then. But, provided you do this again, it'll be an easy win for me next year. ;-)
And thank you for the dissertation well-wishes. Those are always welcome!

To the Beautiful You gives a more serious feel to Hana Kimi, but still has its silly moments. The one thing I found very different was how there was less of an emphasis on the dorm rivalries.
