This week I finished Family's Honor and started Kare. As much as I loved the first part of Family's Honor, I am feeling a little like the latter part might have put me off of Kdramas for a while. On the other hand, that might just be because I am enjoying Kare so much it is making me want to watch ALL THE 90s DRAMAS again. This week I did my semi-annual check for the dramas I haven't been able to find in the past and actually found a few, so I will probably be starting on at least some of those during DFC as well as whatever gets selected for the next dramawatchalong.

3. More like I need help and encouragement for AFTER the challenge because then I won't have anyone to talk to about dramas again.

1. 13, I think! Hmm, fewer every week so far.
5. I started two in one day, whoops! I started Flower Boy Ramen Shop and You Who Came from the Stars. Still, no regrets! I'm doing pretty good in terms of finishing dramas, and this is encouraging me to watch these new dramas at a faster pace than I would have otherwise. It's fun. ♥
6. Usually actors. Like I'll start a drama for one person and, while loving that person, fall in love with another~ And then have to go watch more stuff with the latter. :D
7. The ones I've had luck with are: Pride, Unubore Deka, My Boss My Hero, Keizoku 2: SPEC, Coffee Prince to a lesser extent...

I missed Wednesday due to inclement weather, not that there is inclement weather on the internet but snow shoveling has been wearing me out. Damn this snowy climate! :)

1. I did much better this week (by my standards), ten episodes!

3. You guys have already been doing it, actually. Just hearing about the shows that other people have been watching have made me much more excited to watch my own dramas than usual.

4. Actually what has helped me this last week was Val reassuring me that any drama-watching that I get finished counts here. I wound up focusing on a show that I've been just rewatching but actually, rewatching something often goes hand in hand with watching more of something new for me. They'll always be a point in my rewatching where the show drags a little or something and I get pushed to go to something brand new to me. :D

5. Yes, because I am easily swayed by other people's enjoyment. The main targets have been I Hear Your Voice (which I did start XD), Reply 1994, and Flower Boy Ramen Shop but I have also added a ( ... )

(And believe it or not, I've never seen Nadome Cantabile, even though I know the drama is great and I read and liked the whole manga.)

1.5 The remainder of episode 6 and all of episode 7.

2. What's your favorite episode or drama so far?

Still love episode 2 the best... Though episodes 4 & 5 were both high up there. Again this is to emphasis

3. Do you need any help or encouragement with any aspects of this challenge? (That's what we're here for!)

Guys, I'm really worried I might not finish the drama by the end of the month. :-( I still have 13 episodes to go... with another chapter due to my adviser sometime before then. I know it's just a silly challenge, but it's been so fun checking in with everybody. It will be a little sad for me if I finish this drama on my own.

I'm also really disliking one character in particular, which makes it a little hard because [Spoiler (click to open)]he's the other leg of the love triangle I actually like the actor who is quite endearing, but the character's behavior really makes me exasperated.
