Check In: end of Week Six!

Feb 26, 2014 19:58

Hey drama finishing challengers! Can you believe it? We're already to our last check-in post~ Since we've pretty well covered our challenge watching, I thought I'd make my questions this time a little more open. :)

1. Anyone want to name a drama they're striving finish or number of episodes they are hoping to still watch before the challenge ends ( Read more... )

So I'm assuming we'll have a final wrap-up post or something on Saturday?

This week I watched all of Mofuku no Randevu-. Then I started and dropped both Harvest Villa and Kaen Kita no Eiyuu Ateruiden. (Is it just me who feels like I go through spells of not liking a few dramas in a row?) Then I started Kogure Shashinkan but the first episode broke 20 minutes in, and I had to find something else to watch while waiting for a replacement. So I started watching Goodbye Solo, which is really interesting so far. I was enjoying Kogure Shashinkan, so I'm planning to go back to that next.

3. Looking back on the dramas I've watched for this challenge, I don't think there were any that I particularly loved. I like all but one of the Urero Mikansei Shoujo characters, but it's like all six of them are equally main, so I don't think they count. I also liked most of the minor characters in Family's Honor, but there wasn't really one who stood out over the others. But considering this question made me sort of depressed over the dearth of ( ... )

I finished Kazoku Game! So that puts me at exactly one drama more than I finished the last time we had this challenge, good job, me. :D Busyness at work and then a computer malfunction killed my watching mojo, but I'm still pretty pleased with myself that I was able to watch something that I'd been meaning to watch all year.

Obviously looking forward to Nino's and Ohno's dramas, and the NHK asadora because Yuriko somehow doesn't strike me as an asadora girl at all, so I'm really curious to see how that feels. Also excited for Bitter Blood and Alice no Toge, and maybe I'll watch Saigo kara Nibanme no Koi like I've been meaning to since they're heading into a sequel. I'll likely try them all out, as I usually do, and maybe be surprised by the shorter TV Tokyo and NTV ones, as I often am ( ... )

1. I'm hoping to finish my last three episodes of You Who Came from the Stars for this challenge still, assuming the subs are out and I have a good time to settle in for the end!

2. I don't think I am going to finish Unubore Deka, aha. I was also maybe thinking of getting back into Best Love and Arakawa Under the Bridge earlier in this challenge but maybe I'll still capitalize on my momentum and finish those soon. :)

3. My favorite minor character was Seong Bin from I Hear Your Voice. I liked the actress playing her a lot and I was really charmed by her foul-mouthed teenage girl who does wrong and repents for it and [Spoiler (click to open)]makes a living off her excellent nail art. ♥4. I have definitely at least gotten interested and started/might start dramas due to: Yoon Eun Hye, Ueno Juri, Eita, Han Hyo Joo, Park Min Young, Kim Sun Ah, all of Arashi, Naka Riisa, Lee Min Ho, Takeuchi Yuko, others... Okay, I am probably going against the phrasing of my own question since it wouldn't be SOLELY for them but these and others would be a serious motivation. XD ( ... )
