okay, so my best friend is dedicating a week to her favourite poets but i think i'll just post something by them until i get bored which may be more than a week, may be less. who the hell knows. My LJ is named after T.S. Eliot and so i'm just not even going to start there. haha

i just love the simplicity of her language and her subjects and they way that reveals the complexity of life. how can you tell i was an english student? haha.

she takes the every day and makes it extraordinary and for that i love her. she has a poem about a weeping velvet elvis portrait. it's brilliant.
