I'm moved, but the place is a mess

Well, I made it into the new apartment. I'm here, but just barely. Monday I was packing until 4 AM, then up Tuesday morning at 7:30 for the movers to arrive at 9:30. They took 7 hours to load up, travel from the old place to the new one, and unload. I had made a date with Terri to see Carmen Tuesday night long before I scheduled this move, and ( Read more... )

Just checking in. I haven't visited your blog in a while and it was good to find you doing so well. Congratulations on making the move! I think that the Strip District is a great place and a great location for accessing downtown. I checked out your apt building on google maps. I'm pretty sure it is an old picture because it looks empty in that pic. Looks like an interesting building and sounds like a great apartment. I also enjoyed reading about your trip across the country during the summer/fall.
