i haven't felt like posting in a long while. i guess updating regularly began to feel too much like a "should" and not a "want." i like lj, though. i can't promise i'll update regularly, but once in a while i suppose i'll make an appearance. plus, i like my e-friends. :) (how is everyone ( Read more... )

I've been traveling out West and, at one point, found myself wondering what you were up to and how your life and music were going. I would love to be added to your journal about you & Shays' transition period if you should find that appropriate. xo

where have you been traveling? sounds interesting.

my music! well, it's sort of NOT been going; however, i've been singing in a women's a capella choir for about a year and we perform with a fair degree of regularity. so i'm still singing, which is a good thing. i'm really wanting to get back to making my own music, as well - have been wanting to for a while - but i've so far been unsuccessful at transcending this mental block i've developed against my own creativity. it's a complicated thing.

how is life for you?

i would love to read your new journal.

and i can relate to this so very much: i've been told that i need to take responsibility instead of acting as though things happen to me. i suppose i do play the part of victim with a fair degree of regularity. i have so much to work on.

I would like to be included in your new blog. I promise not to take personally anything you might need to say, nor judge you for your opinions. I think it is often just as difficult a process for our partners as it is for ourselves, but it's very easy to lose sight of that in the midst of transitioning, so I am sincerely interested in your side of the situation.

With school keeping me very occupied, I doubt I will have much time to comment often, but I will read along and perhaps learn something.

Also, if you would prefer I not be reading along, that's fine. I understand.

hey! excellent, i'll add you to that journal then. i could always use the perspective of a trans person besides my husband. :)

Hi! I would like to see yr new blog - I am a (femme queer) partner of a transperson - actually the partner of the other transguy at Union (Aaron). We met once, at the very beginning of seminary, on the queer night out. I also think partners need some space to think and talk. I would love to read it and process and maybe even talk at some point?
