[Poor, poor residents of Deck 7. It had been such a nice, quiet day, too. Bennett had been enjoying it-- the pain medication he and Herz had found had pretty much knocked him out most of the afternoon

[Now, the last time Moonie heard a suspicious noise, she went and got herself in trouble for eating the source. Part of her demands that she turn around and head in the opposite direction.
The other, less logical part of her refuses to let Redd's insanity dictate her actions. She'll face whatever this is, by god.
Have an answering howl-shriek from the other end of the deck, Bennett!]
[Bennett is suddenly very aware of everything. He's aware of being three feet closer to the ground, how much more he smells, how much he hears--
The shriek makes him wince inwardly, but a fresh wave of horror hits him when he realizes that his face didn't move at all. He's not in control of his body.
This isn't even his body.
The wolf tears down the hall to the source of the shriek, entirely against Bennett's will.]
[She would run, but who knows if she'll need the maneuverability a sprint will take away from her? The last thing she needs is to skid into the jaws of another damned boar. No, this hybrid will creep at a mincing pace until she sees the howler for what it is.
Meeting an actual, non-viral mutant wolf is surreal. Even Ganondorf fit into her world view, with his immense size. Moonie recovers from the surprise and pitches into a crouch, keening, kneading the carpet with her claws.]
[Every thought in Bennett's brain is that of sheer terror-- run away, what is she, get back, what are you doing?!-- but the Wolf hears nothing of it, and pulls its lips back into a snarl. He lunges forward, jaws wide, aiming to rip into her shoulder and bring her down.]
[Today is one of those days where Xanxus just wanders the ship to keep his sanity in tact, and shortly after he reaches deck seven, he hears the howl. ...What the hell. Maybe he can find the source and make it shut the fuck up.]
[The wolf pads down the hall, the pain of transformation gone, but not forgotten. It's angry, it wants to lash out at someone, anyone, tear it down to its size and make it one of its own--
Why hello, Xanxus. A rather large wolf has just spotted you.]
Xanxus stays in place and stands up straight while glaring at the wolf, a dangerous twinkle in his eye. Obviously he's just trying to intimidate it, but he won't hesitate to attack if the wolf doesn't back down; after all, he can't get in trouble if he isn't the one to make the first strike, right?]
[Oh, isn't that cute, the human is trying to be intimidating. What we have here is a failure to communicate dominance-- while Bennett would easily back down if the wolf were in his control, the animal's personality has taken over.
[Nails clicking on the floor would be the only thing to alert Kimiko, were she paying any kind of attention. The Wolf sees her ahead and takes off at a full run, his claws skittering for leverage to make it up to speed.
Bennett wants to close his eyes, wants to look away and not see, but he can't, he has no control over anything-- that in and of itself is torture.
There's a loud, eager bark as the Wolf launches itself and bites into the back of Kimiko's neck, just to hold her down-- its not aiming to break anything, it's barely aiming to tear the skin right now.]
[But Kimiko hears that and her head comes up. She's not quick enough- teeth meet neck and the plastic-coated subcutaneous wire is breached by an errant fang.
Instantly, half of Kimiko's vision goes black as the power to her cybernetic eye dies and a bolt of electricity arcs between the open contacts in a brilliant display of power, delivering an intense shock to both wolf and victim.]
[The wolf is thrown back, and it struggles to gain its footing again. Bennett blacks out for a split second, but the wolf is conscious-- and it's not going to stand for that, not from prey. It splits, running back down the hall it came from. It knows when it's met something stronger than it.]
[Sarea isn't on Deck 7, so she doesn't hear the screaming. She stops halfway across Deck 8, however, startled, nose lifted to sniff at the air. Even in human form, her nose is hyper sensitive, and the sudden presence of a familiar scent has her hackles rising; werewolf. From her world or not, she can't tell, but she has to check.
Tracker that she is, the Lycan follows the scent down the stairs to Deck 7, staying close to the walls and slinking around corners in an attempt to find the wolf without being seen, aware that if she can smell it, it can smell her. She's not shifting yet; she can't speak in wolf mode and lupine takes to much energy to waste. Rea can only hope the wolf is sane...]
[Sane is something the Wolf is not, not in this first transformation. Beyond being almost desperate with bloodlust, there are two distinct minds and personalities fighting for dominance in its brain right now.
When Sarea finds it, it looks almost calm. It's standing, pawing at its nose, shaking its head occasionally in an attempt to dislodge something.
In reality, Bennett is fighting anyway he can to take his mind back, but it's not working.]
[Rea stares at it from around the corner for a good five minutes, waiting for it to do something, anything, and being confused when it doesn't even seem to notice her. That could be good, however, and would almost lead her to believe that its a normal wolf - if its scent didn't give it away.
She's not shifting till she has to, though, slowly inching around the corner till she's in view of the wolf, still against the wall, still tensed for any movement or response. Lord only knows what world this ones from.]
[The animal tosses its head again and notices Sarea out of the corner of its eye-- it snarls, lips curling back.
This one smells different. This one smells more like he does-- it's already infected, maybe? It doesn't matter, it doesn't want you here, Sarea. The Wolf's hackles are raised and its tail is high. You are going down, it's decided.]
[Mikaela isn't having a very good day. Someone she truly cared about disappeared, and she's pretty sure she fractured her hand punching a mirror. Her temper is short, and she's moody and depressed.
Uninterested in staying in her room, her travels take her listlessly about the ship. She has no idea she's on deck 7, she's only going where her feet take her. She's absolutely oblivious to any danger.]

...Uh.
There a dog around here?
[It's muttered to herself, but she creeps up to the hallway, and peeks around the corner.]
