[Oh, my. What's this, this evening? It looks like a super-skinny man, badly in need of a shave, wandering around Vertiline in his pajamas

[If Ben finds his way to the kitchens, especially past the usual eating hours, he may run across a familiar teenager.
Herz is in different, borrowed clothing, that hangs on his frame and makes him look smaller than he actually is just by virtue of being too big. He's throwing something together while something that smells remarkably like sweet bread bakes in the oven.]
[OH LOOK, by the time he thinks, "Hey, you know, I haven't eaten in a while," he's kind of STARVING, and actually has found clothes. He looks like a scribe, really-- he's wearing a tunic and a vest and slacks made out of something that could pass for tweed and a nice pair of leather loafers.
He feels ridiculous, but it really is comfortable.
And much to his surprise, there is a Herz! Bennett smiles, really happy to see the kid's all right. Well, visibly, anyway.]
[HE SWEARS TO CHRIST, ONE DAY HE'S BARRICADING THE--
Oh wait, he knows that guy.
Herz finally starts breathing again, having jumped the expected mile at the assumed stranger's arrival. But the stranger wasn't strange. Well. Maybe in the literal sense he kinda was. But Herz did know him! If briefly. He was the guy who was under the table with him when he arrived. Bennett.
Herz gives a tentative wave. He has no ill wishes against the guy--he actually seemed really nice, putting up with Herz's freaking out and being a support when he needed something to hold--he just wanted more alone time. Like. All of it. Ever.
Buuuut you're here now. So he guesses he has to be polite.
You're lucky he wasn't cutting anything, duder. Just crushing berries for jam.
[Hakkai is starting to wonder if he could request a teapot in his pod. He's gone to the temple kitchens so often for his tea, he figures it might just be easier on everyone.
And so, that's where he's coming from, a steaming cup in his hands. Fortunately, he can step around the pajama-wearing individual, before anything unfortunate happens.]
[And Ben freezes where he's standing, staring at Hakkai. Okay, yeah, he didn't recognize you at first in the semi-dark, but he remembers you now. His sense of smell isn't as strong as it is when he's changed, but it's unmistakeable.
Now to act like they've Never Ever Ever Ever Met.]
[He trails off, staring back at the stammering individual. Hakkai blinks. He glances behind himself, in case there's something looming up out of the dark to eat him. Or something.]
[Hey guess who's chilling out outside of her artichoke? This girrrrrlllll. She'd thought about smoking because killer rabbits are a little stressful, but there's no telling how long she'll have to make those last. So she's just watching everyone mill around and. Generally just taking up space for now.
hhhhh her life. She doesn't even see Mr. Pajama walking by.]
[JUST WHO HE WAS LOOKING FOR. He wanders up and leans down, looking like a palm tree in a hurricane, trying to find her spaced-out line of sight to catch her attention. He's carrying a set of sheets, neatly folded in his arms.]
I'm not blind. [Seriously, once he was within talking distance, she was watching him. The leaning was really unnecessary. But she sees what you have there.]

...Wait, is that a guy walking around in his pajamas?
Well that's pretty weird.
Don't mind her, Bennett. She's just giving you a "What even" face right now]

Hey, d'you know if there's, uh-- any tea, around here? I can make some. We can sweeten it with berries, if there's enough.
[It's a little taste of home, really, something he and Elizabeth came up with.]
