For those of you keeping track, here is a list of items that have not had to be replaced/repaired on my "factory certified" Jaguar:

• Right rear passenger door release.
  
• Hood ornament.
  
• Carpet in the trunk.
  

Sometimes it's better to reflect on the good things.

ford is rather icky and are now responsible for giving Volvo their first batch of recalls.

My position requires me to make periodic trips to Ford plants, and they frown on people driving in with nice (i.e. non-Ford) cars. I was down to this car or a Volvo S60, and Jag had a much better interest rate.
Of course, if I had purchased the Volvo I wouldn't have gotten to know the service department so well....
