I'm watching one of my all-time favorite episodes of "The Simpsons" - the one where John Waters voices the Simpsons' gay friend.

"Dad, why did you bring me to a gay steel mill?"

If you haven't seen this, you definately should. It is a treat.

doesn't that episode end with a dedication to the United Steel Workers? How funny.

yeah, it says something along the lines of:

"dedicated to the steelworkers of america.
keep reaching for that rainbow!"

...seeing that episode again reminded me how incredibly politically incorrect it was. it is quite old, however(original air date: 2/16/97) they did another, more recent episode in which homer lives with two gay guys, and harvey fierstien backed out as guest voice because it was so offensive.
