I stood beside the still waters

reaching to the heights that

warmed my core.

My willows were caressed

by the wind.

My day was as any other day

until they came.

They stood in my

shade and splendor.

He claimed my shelter to be

Today, I witnessed

love's first kiss.

It's really GREAT to have a GOOD friend who says this, "Hey, I have an extra ticket to The Stones Concert."

followed up by this question, "You wanna go?"

DUH!
