Hmm, this is a difficult one, 'cause I don't seem to find most movies scary anymore. Ahhhh. Day of the Dead? The original Dawn of the Dead? Or the new one? Scanners 3?

Hmmm...I am not sure, but the first one that comes to mind is THE SHINING as far as scary goes. It's not really gory, but the way the visuals, the actors, and the music all comes together. It's just amazing.
