I'm going to take classes this summer and I think I'll take two classes. Does that mean I'll be a part time student? How many classes do people usually take during the summer?

if this is for insurance purposes, they don't generally count summer semester. if you are a full-time student during the regular school year, they give you some slack over the summer. i don't think you even have to take classes to still qualify for insurance. and generally most people i know take 2-3 classes over the summer.

yes you will be part-time and yes they do count it during the summer (or they did last summer at least).

but i think that they allot financial aid differently over the summer, so you have to have that filled out on your fafsa.

either that, or the financial aid is the same, and you would be part-time so you would only get a fraction of the aid you would get if you were full time. im taking 2 classes now, my student loan was for $1724, and my tuition was $960.

the summer that i took classes i took 3 and my loan was for $1724 and my tuition was $1216.

sorry about writing so much, hope at least some of it helps.
