suggestion books

i'm searching for recommendations for some good books to read. looking for 20th/21st century, fiction, possibly a classic i've missed. i've read way too much non-fiction lately, esp. on the restaurant/wine industry, so looking for something other than that. suggestions please.

I'm reading a great book right now, The Monkey Wrench Gang. You may enjoy it. I found it slow to start, but it's since picked up a lot of steam.
