Uninvited insight.

This was brought on by a conversation I had with my uncle.

There are walls we erect to distance, and protect ourselves from one another; if not carefull one day we may turn to realize that we got just what we asked for.

Just a thought for us well guarded types out there.

but then again, if creating great distance is something to be avoided and monitored for, then what motivation have we to erect walls in the first place? what is it we fear? being "disfavorable"? then why?

no answers, yet, as i am certainly a wall-builder myself...

And thank you for pointing out the hole. I'm ashamed to say it but I was distracted at the time by people... This 'burns me to no end'. Indeed, the need for distance is the motivating emotion. I should have said that if one is not careful they might one day turn to realize that in all their distance; they are alone.
