i have absolutely NO idea what's going to happen, but for the first time in a long time i think i'm ok with that.

i watched say anything the other day. after diane breaks up with lloyd, he says, "the rain on my car is a baptism - the new me, ice man, power lloyd. my assault on the world begins now."

i was the ice woman for so long. even though it's autumn and the temperature outside is swiftly dropping, the ice around my heart is slowly beginning to thaw.

i love my grandparents very much.

when one shoe comes untied, i retie it and then retie the other shoe even though it wasn't untied. they have to be of equal tightness or i get freaked out.

i had a revelation tonight. i've been so upset over the decisions that i've recently made that i completely missed the forest for the trees. i've been feeling sorry for myself because of how crappy i feel. but tonight i realized that, hard as those decisions were, they were my first step in the right direction in a really, really long time.

aaaaand so i'm 20 today.

i requested nicely that my mom buy me a ring pop at the mall. and she did!

...but my love fern ain't one.
