I would actually expect that to be entirely delicious. Black pudding, alas, seems to be one of the very few foods that cannot really be got here, or at least the only time I've had it properly, as opposed to some vaguely black-pudding flavoured pate, was a very small piece in a raviolus with a seared scallop as part of my birthday dinner this year, which was excellent. I've always liked black-pudding sandwiches in brown rolls, myself.
