Duel 11- Adstrigendum makes people fall in love? [Filtered from Joker]

Sep 06, 2008 19:46

I just ... recognized something.

Is it just me or ... is there mostly everyone in a relationship currently?

Could someone tell me why that's the case?
You haven't even known each other for long, if you are from different dimensions, have you?
I don't understand it.

Is this the love at first sight people always talk about?

Huh, you think so?

Hm... perhaps...

Yes. It's just something I have noticed ...

...you don't sound too convinced.

Ah, don't worry. I was just thinking over something.

What were you thinking about?

In a place like this, everything turned around and falling apart, is it so unusual, people coming together looking for comfort?

It happens during and after wars, as well, people coming together very fast. It's a response to an unpredictable world, a hunt for something more...solid and firm.

I guess you are right.
Still ... if that's the only reason to be with someone ... to be comforted...
Than it isn't really love.
It's simply people using each other ...

I never said there wasn't love, my boy. Merely saying that...it is fast tracked in times and places like this.

They don't wait and debate and get nervous and hide and avoid things as long or adamantly as they would at home. And they are also more open to it when it develops, so they don't miss the hints as readily.

There's nothing wrong or less true about love found like that...it is merely one of many ways people come together.

I understand.

I didn't think that there couldn't be love in that cases, real love.
But I just thought that it shouldn't be all about comfort.

Everyone's in love? Really?

fond_arrogance September 6 2008, 19:17:16 UTC
Not really everyone but ...
The number of those who are seems to be increasing ...

Really? Well...I guess it makes sense, the longer people are here, the more likely they are to find someone?

fond_arrogance September 6 2008, 19:39:55 UTC
True.
Unless they already have somone they love that isn't here.

I don't know much about it, but maybe it is. Does that bother you?

fond_arrogance September 6 2008, 21:02:17 UTC
... it makes me feel a bit lonely.
That's everything.

Yeah I guess it does doesn't it? Maybe you should hang out with others more? It does help a little.

fond_arrogance September 6 2008, 21:19:26 UTC
... I thought about that, too.
But ... it still won't be the same ...

How exactly do you get that impression ?

How would you define a relationship ?

Not sure. Maybe trough reading entries over the net and hearing of some relationships.

Well ... I mean a romantic one. Otherwise I would call it friendship.

I see.

((OOC : sorry, Manome gets a treat from Vince's brand of 'I'm so not asking questions cuz there's something in my life I don't get ! *wink*))
