My philosophy on the "mortal enemy"

It seems that everyone who i've sheepishly talked to about my mortal enemy, can relate to my situation, or already have a mortal enemy of their own. Usually, in the cases i've studied, mortal enemies are a reflection of oneself or what one aspires to be. In my case mortal enemism stemmed from jealousy. Wow, Carol, be glad that you're not here in Taiwan, because here, the girls here are also more Chinese than you are ;) . I'm just joking. Well, no, they are more Chinese, but that's because I'm in Asia. I don't have a mortal enemy as such, but I think I know what you mean. I have run into similar characters in my life, but don't have that one, single object of despise in my life. Maybe that's what I'm missing. . . hmmmm. I'll have to look into that.
