Even if it wasn't so at first, Anise has managed to gain a lot of respect from Natalia. She's smart, witty, and has been able to put up with the Colonel for who knows how long -- that definitely deserves some kind of recognition! And on a more personal level, Natalia realizes that no matter how mature Anise can be, she's still young and Natalia wants to be there for her whenever she's needed.
