[Because you brought up school, you've given one of your students a guilty conscience. Sheesh, Gelda. Way to go. :P]

I'm sorry for missing classes the past couple of weeks.

That's perfectly all right, Selphie. You had every reason to be absent.[The malnosso-kidnapping entry from a few weeks ago didn't go unnoticed.]

How are you feeling now?

Much better now! Just working on getting this ankle of mine back in shape.

That's good. Will you be attending the New Feather party tonight?

World Sharing? And magic? I'm sorry, but would you mind elaborating?

I wouldn't mind at all.

The magic class is meant for everyone who's interested in learning about elemental magic. We guide our students as they attempt to contact the Filial spirits, which allows them to use their magic, and discuss how magic differentiates between world to world.

World Sharing is rather like the name implies. Students may share information about their home worlds, discussing both differences and similarities. Occasionally, we use the Battle Dome's simulators to give students a better impression of what other worlds look like.

I see.

And anyone of any age can enroll these classes, yes?

Yes, that's right. These two classes are open to anyone, so you can attend whenever you feel like it. Magic classes take place every day from 12:55 to 1:40, and World Sharing from 1:45 to 2:30.

[Vegeta lives in House #29 and, wouldn't you know it, he's out taking a walk. The expression on his face says the walk might not be entirely voluntary. He's wearing a bright pink sweater with a slouch to match. Annoyed and cold all over, he's looking for something to take his temper out on...

Oh, look. Snowmen. And they're smiling. He kicks at the one closest to the street and waits to see if you'll come pick a fight with him.]

[Gelda's kneeling in the snow a short distance away, sculpting her next snowman, when she hears the soft thud of one of her creations collapsing. She turns her head just in time to see Vegeta retract his foot.

Goodness, that was completely unnecessary. She'd assume that perhaps this man is one of the more dangerous villagers, but... He's wearing a pink sweater. How dangerous could he be, really?]

... Do you not like snowmen, Sir?

Tch. [Damn, no yelling? Vegeta glares at you from across the yard, a bit petulantly if you can tell the difference. He folds his arms across his chest and, because he's kind of a bully, makes a show of kicking down another snowman.

He stomps on what's left of it. Just because. 8|c]

[Vegeta may not seem entirely dangerous, but on the other hand, he seems perfectly childish. Gelda pushes herself to her feet, turning to face him entirely. Her voice turns firm and colder than before.]

Sir, I will have to ask you to stop that.

World sharing classes huh.

That's kinda interesting. Those I wouldn't mind attending.

Is there any set time for those? Or just show up and learn?

[Goodness, this man looks rather familiar. Gelda squints at the little snapshot in the journal, but is unable to determine just who he reminds her of.]

We have World Sharing classes every day, taking place from 1:45 to 2:30. You may attend whenever you like.

Interesting. I'll have to stop by.

Ah, let me introduce myself. I am James Gumshoe.

I take it World sharing doesn't need registering?

It's a pleasure to meet you, James.

World Sharing is indeed open to anyone who would like to stop by. There's no need for student registration at all.

[If Gelda happens to glance back at the snowmen she's already made, she might notice that some of them now have what look to be small dogs or cats standing beside them, maybe even a couple of rabbits with leaves for ears.

Gelda isn't the only adult out playing in the snow today. Just seeing her so happy is making Regal feel more playful as well, and... well. Snowmen. Does there really need to be another excuse?]

[Gelda was rather absorbed in getting her latest snowman just the right size of head, so it takes a while before she properly looks up again. ... And suddenly her snowmen have pets. Either Luceti has some sort of magical effect on snowmen, or someone's being a bit mischievous.

She glances around, trying to find the culprit. It doesn't take her too long to spot him, either.]

Well, well. What have we here?

[Yeah, Regal doesn't exactly stand much of a chance of hiding behind the snowmen when he's the size he is-- not that he really wants to hide, either. He's having fun with this.

Just hope he doesn't decide to add snowballs to the mix as well.]

I couldn't help but notice that some of them looked lonely all by themselves.

[Gelda wouldn't mind a snowball fight right about now, actually. She came outside to enjoy the snow, and enjoy it she will.]

Then, it's a good thing you're an expert snow sculptor. Now they'll have the company of their favorite frosty pets.
