[On this dreary autumn day, Gelda is out for a walk, accompanied by a peppy little dog. Some people may wonder since when Gelda has a dog. Technically, she doesn't. This cute puppy belongs to Luceti's favorite idol, Miu Matsuoka. Gelda's adopted the role of dogsitter until Miu returns from her kidnapping

[Storm has been spending the past few days trying to get a handle on Luceti. If she's going to be stuck here, then she'd best be familiar with the area.]

[She spies Gelda and the puppy on one of her rounds of the town. It's funny how people feel so at-home in this place.]

That's quite a dog you have there.

[Gelda turns to give Storm a warm smile, while Satake tries to get closer to this newcomer in hopes of being petted. It results in a bit of leash-tugging and Gelda has no choice but to take a few steps closer before Satake accidentally chokes himself.]

I'm afraid he isn't mine. He's my guest for a while, so to speak.

[It's a good thing Storm likes animals, then! She reaches down to give the puppy a fond scratching behind the ears.]

Oh? Where did his owner run off to?

[Gelda's quiet for a moment, watching Satake, before turning her gaze back to Storm.]

... She's been taken by the Malnosso for experimentation. I suspect she'll be back in a week or so.

[ Cooro is hanging out in a tree near the house, swinging his legs. He hears the name and perks up. He doesn't realize it's a little startling to hear a shout coming from an ordinary looking tree. ]

Uwaaah! Is that Miu's dog?

[It is indeed a bit startling to Gelda, but she recognizes the voice as one of her students and looks up with a smile.]

That's right.

[ He hops down from the tree, using his wings to slow his fall, and trots over. ]

I've never met 'm before.

[Satake's tail starts wagging excitedly when Cooro approaches him. Looks like he's eager for some attention.]

Is that so? Well, he certainly looks happy to meet you now.

[Winry, in turn, is walking her own dog Den. Recognizing Satake, she approaches Gelda.]

Excuse me, is that Miu's dog?

[Satake's tail starts wagging happily at the sight of Winry and Den. He nearly pulls Gelda to the ground in an attempt to get closer to the two, but she manages to keep her balance and tug Satake back.]

Yes, it is. I'm watching over him until she returns.

[The girl smiles, and reaches out to pet the dog.] I'm glad someone is taking care of him. He's not giving you too much trouble, is he?

[Satake happily accepts those pettings, while Gelda watches him with a smile.]

Not at all. I haven't had a pet in years, so it's a rather enjoyable experience.

[Don't mind Regal just watching you and Satake for a little while, Gelda. He finds it oddly adorable to see his girlfriend trying to wrangle the little dog... he'd never really pegged her as a dog person, and it's clear she hasn't had much experience in the area, but she seems to be enjoying it nonetheless, and watching her playing with Satake makes him happy as well.]

[Once she's finished her round of the village, Gelda returns to the house, Satake in tow. Now that he's done his business, the pup is only too happy to return to the comfort of a nice warm living room. It's a sentiment Gelda can agree on.

After closing the front door behind herself, she takes off Satake's leash, allowing him to run free in the house.]

I'm home!

[She'll venture further inside after she's put her coat away. It was awfully cold outside, so logically the first thing on her mind is a cup of hot tea.]

[Will hot chocolate do? Because that's what Regal has got on the stove right now, along with a pot of vegetable soup. It's the perfect weather for hot food and he intends to make good use of their new electric appliances this year.]

Welcome back. I hope Satake didn't terrorize the rest of the village too badly.

[On second thought, forget tea. Hot chocolate and soup sounds divine right now. It smells divine as well, as Gelda comes to realize when she enters the kitchen.]

Not at all. He's actually quite sweet once you learn to keep an eye on him.

[She throws a quick peek into the pot to see what kind of soup Regal is preparing, before moving to stand by his side and leaning in for a quick kiss.]
