For one, she's still dressed in her Oracle Knight uniform when she awakens in the library. She'd dozed off after much extensive reading and notetaking

Of course. I'd be more than happy to. [She really wants to hear what Nephry's been doing these past few weeks. It'll help her keep her mind of what she's been up to, as well.]

[Not the only person on her list. There is no "first" person on this hypothetical list, as Gelda feels she's wronged them all quite equally.]

[Oh, hey whatdya know. Bruce is in the library too. Mostly he was just looking through books on the shelf, but he glances over and... wow, that's a lot to put back lady.]

Do you need some help with those...? [Lookz like you do.]

[Gelda looks up at Bruce before giving him an anxious smile. It isn't that she's afraid he might ask questions about her choice of reading material- Chances are he isn't from Auldrant, which means books about Fonons won't mean much to him. Still, a mild feeling of shame is what makes her want to keep the books' titles to herself.]

Oh, it's fine. I wouldn't want to trouble you.

Oh, it's really no trouble at all. I'm used to overdoing it myself. [He's just picking a few of those books up. HELPING YOU RATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT.]

Just doing some research on your home world? [He gets a glimpse or two at the books as he's picking them up. He doesn't recognize the titles at all =|a]

[Bruce has already picked up the books before Gelda can stop him. Oh well, might as well allow him to act like a gentleman, then. Gelda picks up a stack herself, ready to take it back to its proper shelf.]

Something like that. I find that these sort of books never get boring. [Which is actually very true. She would read this technobabble for fun.]

[Hey there, former not!mom. It's not that Hisoka still cares or anything, but the library's sort of his second home and he might've been keeping an eye on Gelda while she slept. He'll approach once she's awake, making a move to help clear up her research.]

[Good morning, not!son. Gelda gives Hisoka a smile once she notices he's approaching her, though that's replaced by a rather confused look at his comment.]

[She smiles again, though it's a bit more strained this time.] I'm sure everyone carries a burden in this place. Mine should dissipate soon enough, but thank you for worrying.
