So... I cheated a couple of nights ago and watched Conversations with Dead People. While I was watching it, I knew that this episode was coming up, so I made a special point to notice Jonathan. Earshot was supposed to air at about the same time as Columbine. They postponed it's airing.

"The Columbine High School massacre occurred one week before this episode was originally scheduled to air. Because this episode involved a scene with a student loading a rifle--apparently for mass murder, but in reality for suicide--the WB preempted it with the episode "Band Candy". A bootleg copy soon appeared on the Internet, but the episode did not air until the following autumn. The season finale was also preempted due to "school violence concerns." The Buffy novel, The Evil That Men Do was also delayed due to the Columbine incident, it was published one year later than planned."

Yeah, I remember that. I was all pissed there wasn't a new episode, but when they eventually aired it I was like "Oh, creepy".

I agree about Buffy/Angel being inappropriate. I didn't think much of it until he said he used to watch her, a couple of years back, before they met. What was she then, 14? That was creepy ( ... )
