I knew it was coming up. Happy birthday!
So it was arduous getting in and out of Jiffy Lube Live? Was it muddy? I did it without a car, in order to see Iron Maiden. What an odyssey. It was worth it.
Patton Oswalt didn't do his George Lucas-bashing routine, did he?

The weird thing about Jiffy Lube live is that it is impossible to get into and remarkably easy to leave. We sat in awful traffic while inept attendants tried to park max cars in min space. Of course, we only used half the parking lot because they were squeezing people. If they had let traffic flow normally, we could've prevented the back-ups and I would've been able to hear the full version of "Southern Cross." Of course, when those attendants bolt and leave it to the drivers to figure out the exit strategy, everything flows organically and it's a dream egress.

Also, Patton Oswalt was doing all new material. 90% of it was brilliant and hilarious and 10% of it sounded stale already. Still a tremendous show and the Warner Theater (or re?) is such an incredible venue that it made anyone look good.
