Guy is in general a level headed, mature, casual, nice guy, normal young man. Having served as Luke’s servant for several years, he has also developed a sense of loyalty, as well as taking on the “best friend/older brother” role. Though his priority is making sure Luke doesn’t get himself into too much trouble, these traits carry over to his friends and people in general. He is always willing to lend a helpful hand if required. He also doesn’t mind having fun and can joke around and tease others easily, especially with Luke.
Though he carries himself as someone who was of common birth, Guy still retains his noble blood and mannerisms. If he had to, he has the capability of taking command and giving direction. But that’s only if he had to. He would prefer to stay in his “servant” role and therefore take orders rather than giving them out. Though he might protest, he hardly ever refuses requests (unless they’re obviously stupid/illogical/insane/etc.), and this includes being the “go to” guy for explanations. Jade will always make Guy explain whatever situation is going on. This is due to Guy's ability to keeps up and understand things better than most. He can also “translate” the explanations so that they make more sense (though it’s usually a lost cause for Luke).
Guy is also the go to guy for anything fontech - or machine/technology - related. In a word, he’s a geek. Fontechnology fascinates him greatly and he’ll eat anything about them up. Sometimes he’ll even get distracted by them even during serious situations. This might only last for a second or two, but at some point he will be pinged and for at least a moment he will wonder or marvel at anything fontech. If he gets his hands on one, he will more than likely investigate and take it apart to learn more about it.
Despite his gynophobia, Guy can be a natural charmer. He states that he while he can’t be near women, he certainly can enjoy looking at them. He won’t necessarily flirt, but his polite mannerisms, always saying the right thing, and just being an all around nice guy can be perceived as being charming to most women. His good looks probably don't help, either. It should also be noted that he will converse with women and doesn’t mind being around them. Just as long as they’re a considerable distance away - about five or ten feet at least - he can carry on like normal. However, if any girl gets a little too close to his personal space, he’ll immediately shoot backwards in a panic. Having learned the source of his gynophobia (his sister’s and the maid’s sacrifice to save him), Guy has been slowly working through his problems and finds it a little easier to approach women. It also won’t stop him from reaching out to save any girl in danger, or to stop her from something. It seems that under dire circumstances, his fear of women goes straight out the window. He’s not completely cured, but he’s slowly getting there.
Just like any other person, Guy can get emotional, especially when it comes to anything involved with Luke or any of his loved ones. This usually surprises everyone since he’s normally the calm, laid back one. However, after some time he can bring himself back to his senses. He can also recognize when he has to step back. Even if he’ll disagree with something, if it’s the person’s wish, he will support them. He will still try to find a way out, but he knows he can’t force someone to do something.
Another thing is he doesn’t always “open” himself up, so to speak. Whether he’s hiding things on purpose or it’s unintentional, he will try not to cause any worry for the others. He can be secretive, and a little deceptive in that way. He’ll pretend everything is all right and deflect anything that he doesn’t really want to talk about. This doesn’t happen too often, but on the few occasions that it does, he’ll just shrug it off as if it weren’t important.
One last thing is Guy can be very determined or focused about things. If he’s set on a job, he’ll get it done. If he has to find Luke, he will find Luke somehow. This is also in part due to him having been a servant. He will also bring everyone back into focus of what they need to do if necessary.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Other than being a faithful servant and somehow having a Luke-radar, Guy is skilled with the sword. His style is referred to as the Sigmund style, and it uses faster, light strikes. While his hits might not be as powerful, since he can hit fast, he can increase the number of slashes and focus more on accuracy. This also makes him fast and agile, and he can sense danger faster than others.
He is also well versed in fontechnology - which carries over to standard technology. Though he may need to experiment, he will normally be able to figure out how something works.
As mentioned in the above section, Guy's major weakness is women because of his guynophobia, though he is getting better.
Also as mentioned above, he will be able to explain whatever the situation is if prompted.
