I saw photos today of the love of my life, his wife, their infant son. It made me feel deflated, like a balloon, and otherwise devoid of emotion. I'm pretty sure I long ago exhausted my bank of emotions regarding this man, but I do find it hard to comprehend that an experience that had such profound and long-lasting effects on me has evaporated ( Read more... )

I'm making a vow to myself to try things the right way, at least until the new year.

I'm gearing up for aloneness this week. I've seen it coming and am more or less prepared. I continue to despise my job, BUT! I will be home from 12/20 until 12/26 (reeeeeeeeeeeeally early). And my dear Jonathan will be here prior. Hence, things will be better...
