Halloween on Thursday is the worst for haunted houses. Normally, Fridays and Saturdays are the best nights, attendance-wise, but when Friday is November first the attendance drops to numbers like the last weekend in September - pretty damn low. We'd always be open for Friday the First because haunted house groupies would make the effort to see haunts one last time, but a Thursday Halloween definitely screwed us out of an otherwise high-attendance weekend.

Halloween should indeed trail off instead of slamming into a wall, and Christmas needs to GET BACK IN ITS PLACE - not creeping onto store shelves before October.
